What is DTF and what do you deliver?
We are a Toronto-based production team. You send your artwork and order details; we print and deliver finished DTF apparel ready to wear or sell. No printing equipment needed on your side.
Who is this service for?
Brands, businesses, schools, teams, creators, agencies, and nonprofits that want premium full-colour apparel without managing production in-house.
What is your standard and rush turnaround?
Standard production is 4–5 business days after artwork approval and payment. Rush options are available: same day, next day, 2-day, and 3-day (subject to capacity).
Where is local pickup?
Pickup address: Unit 16, 877 Alness Street, Toronto, ON M3J 2X4. We’ll notify you by email/SMS when your order is ready. Free parking available.
Do you ship?
Yes. We ship Canada-wide with tracking. Typical transit is 2–5 business days depending on location. Rush courier can be arranged on request.
Can I place an order using your online designer?
Yes. You can design, preview, and submit your order directly on our site using the online designer. Upload logos, add text, choose garment colours and sizes, and send it straight to production.
Do you offer design help if I’m not using the online designer?
Absolutely. We can assist with cleanup, resizing, background removal, and layout. For complex branding projects, full design services are available.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimums. Order a single sample or a full run for your campaign, event, or store.
Can you supply garments, or can we bring our own?
Both. We stock and source popular blanks at scale. You may also provide your own new, unwashed garments after confirming fabric details and quantities with our team.
Which fabrics do you print on?
Best results on 100% cotton, poly-cotton blends, and polyester. Some performance fabrics are suitable. For nylon or water-repellent items, please contact us for recommendations.
How durable are your prints?
Our DTF prints are built for everyday wear, holding colour and detail through many washes when cared for properly. Care cards are included with every order.
Do you offer personalization (names, numbers, departments)?
Yes. We handle player names, numbers, staff roles, and multi-size runs for schools, teams, and corporate uniforms.
What file formats and specs do you accept?
Preferred: PNG or SVG with transparent background. Also accepted: PDF, EPS with outlined fonts. Use 300 dpi at final size. We handle print prep and mirroring on our side.
Can you match brand colours?
We offer close visual matches. If a very specific shade is critical, we recommend a small paid test print before the full run.
Do you print on dark garments?
Yes. A white underbase is used where needed so colours stay vivid on dark fabric.
How do I get a fast quote?
Send artwork, garment style/colour, sizes and quantities, deadline, and pickup or shipping preference to contact@printbarn.ca. We’ll reply with clear pricing and timelines.
When does the production clock start?
After artwork approval and payment are completed. Rush slots are first-come, first-served.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major cards, e-transfer, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, Cash in Person, Cheque. Invoices show HST where applicable. Deposits may be required for custom or rush orders.
Can I see a proof before you print?
Yes. Digital proofs are provided on request or when adjustments are needed. Approvals keep your timeline on track.
Do you offer size charts and placement guidance?
Yes. We provide brand size charts and standard print placement guides. Custom placements are welcome; just note them at order time.
What is the maximum print size?
Common max print area for fronts/backs is up to large format adult placements; we’ll confirm exact limits based on garment and design.
Do you offer relabeling or inside neck prints?
Yes. We can print inside neck tags (care, size, brand) for retail-ready delivery.
What is your quality control and reprint policy?
Every order is checked before pickup or shipping. If a production issue occurs on our side, we reprint promptly. Because custom orders are made for you, final approvals are essential.
Can I change or cancel my order after approval?
Changes after approval may affect timelines and costs. If production has started, cancellation may not be possible. Contact us immediately and we’ll advise the best path.
Do you accept customer-supplied garments?
Yes. Please deliver new, unwashed items in their original packs where possible. While we handle with care, rare spoilage on customer-supplied items is not always replaceable; we recommend providing a small overage.
Do you offer wholesale or ongoing partner pricing?
Yes. We support recurring brand and agency programs with tiered volume pricing and scheduled deliveries.
How should I care for garments to maximize longevity?
Wait 24 hours before washing. Turn inside out. Cold wash, gentle cycle. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron directly on the print.
What about colour variance between screens and print?
Colours can vary slightly due to device displays and garment colours. For mission-critical tones, request a test print before the full run.
Do you print copyrighted or trademarked designs?
We print only with the rights holder’s permission. By ordering, you confirm you have the necessary rights for all artwork.
